This weeks Dorking Advertiser

Some articles and comment in this weeks Dorking Advertiser:-

Residents complaining about the High Street road works which are keeping them up at night.
I don't blame them at all. Can you imagine living in the flats around pump corner!

More letters about the Deepdene roundabout Dorking Cockerel
One of Dorking's most talked about features, and not for the right reasons. There does appear to be some support though. To me it has been 'pure comedy' from the start. As it is inevitable I now almost want to see it to brighten up these dark months. It is bound to create a few laughs.

Council workers take a couple of thousand sick days
Not much substance here. Where I work I hate people coming into the office if they are genuinely ill and spreading what they have got to other members of staff.

This weeks TV Guide
Would be great if it didn't list last weeks programmes!

Thanks for giving an overview of this week's Dorking Ad. Other things of note that the bank was robbed in Shere (again!) It is only a matter of time before this branch closes and leaves the villages of Shere and Gomshall are left without a bank. Thank goodness, Dorking has a lot of banks to choose from.

Also the story about the young girl who was bitten by a dog near the Dorking Business Park. Why are the minority of dog owners so irresponsible by letting their dogs roam around without a leash?? I come across these people quite a bit of the time who let their dogs roam around Denbies, Ranmore etc. letting their dogs running around worrying livestock, allowing their dogs to sh*t and failing to pick up their mess on pavements, grass verges etc. Come on, it is not fair on the rest of us who are constantly stepping into it and kids falling into it, when the Council provides specialised bins to try and alleviate this problem.
