A tribute to the 'Chicks'

This definitely has some artistic merit. It is a tribute to Dorking Football Club on YouTube. I started watching it and thought it was just a collection of still photographs and was waiting for the obligatory rock music to kick in an spoil everything. But no, the sound track is just of people watching a Dorking match along with occasional swearing and shouting. The images of local people and the ground are fantastic too.

It really is a great couple of minutes. Brilliant work.

Yes....it still shows that Dorking Football Club is in many ways a social club and still exists down at the Meadowbank. Shame that it did not show some of the 'younger' supporters who go down there every fortnight or so. It also goes to show that the Club is in dire need of investment not only in terms of bringing in new players but, the ground looks very much on the tired / rundown side.

Dorking have hit a rough patch recently - losing their last three games by quite wide margins. Still like venturing to the Meadowbank to catch up on the football and we will always remember Vaughny' -- may he rest in peace!

Very quirky and typically Dorking FC. Shows the real atmosphere at grass roots level rather than supporting the 'big' Premiership teams. Go on support your local club - I bet you would be surprised at the standard of football, the atmosphere and the serene location. Last match of the season is coming up at the Meadowbank, check their website for details.
