Night out 18/09/05

I went out tonight in Dorking and overall it was good. The night started badly though, we went to the star and they had a live band on, now this on the whole is good, but on this occasion, when you walked into the pub it was just too loud to be enjoyable, mainly due to the small size of the pub. It was cooler outside tonight, but too much so, we couldn't sit outside. When I stood in there tonight it was so packed and about 3 deep at the bar with no movement. Anyway we left and went up to the Old House, that was busy but space soon became available as the night wore on. I don't know about that place there is a certain regular clientele there that is undesirable (you know who you are) - it puts others off!

We ended up in the Kings Arms and suprisingly it was good, quite busy with a good mix of people. My friend made a tit of himself with the, quite lovely, barmade but, other than that, it was quite an enjoyable night.
