The Dorking Cockerel

It is official! I read in this weeks Dorking Advertiser that Mole Valley District Council has approved a 10ft high statue of a cockerel to sit on the Deepdene Roundabout on the eastern end of the town. It will be interesting to see what the finished article looks like, dogged by controversy, the subject alone has raised many giggles from locals.....
