Frontier rocks Dorking Fireworks

Once again Dorking Fireworks was a display well worth seeing.

Organised as usual by the Round Table there was a larger than usual funfair there with various rides. As part of Mole Valley Arts Alive there was also an impressive lantern procession. Local schools had made the elaborate designs and it added to the event which seems to get bigger each year.

A company called Frontier Fireworks from East Sussex provided the display and it was very impressive and well timed with a fantastic finale. The company is highly regarded in their field.

In previous years Imperial Fireworks, a local company, have always provided us with impressive displays although I have heard various rumours that they are no longer doing displays. Does anyone have any info on this?

Anyway well done to Dorking Round Table and Frontier Fireworks.

The town had a huge turn out, with lots of youngsters and families alike, this was a great opportunity for the shopkeepers to capitalise on the p.r. and extra business with throngs of people in the town, where there any shops open? where there heck!! why did no-one open at this great time??

Not impressed - compared with previous displays, this one was quite mediocre.
