New Thai restaurant now opened

I see the new Thai restaurant in the unit which was formerly The Khyber Pass curry house has now opened. Looks quite good inside and hope it does well, we woudn't want that unit empty for another 4 years. It's funny though as just up the road you have Sang Thai, which is very rated and next door to that is the Peking Cuisine - all within a stones throw of each other.

At least it brightens up that end of the town though.

As I write the fog is descending on Dorking, which is what they said would happen on the weather forecast.

Have driven by the 'new' Thai a few times and it does indeed look quite smart, bright and airy. As for the other, more established Thai restaurant (Sang Thai), I find it to be too formal, tables on top of one another, top notch food but, very, very pricey! Hopefully, the Angel Thai will be able to survive the great deal of similar competition in the town centre.
