West Street resurfacing complete

The resurfacing of West Street is complete, which will be a relief for anyone living down there. Now it looks great and, at the moment, absorbs up road noise from traffic making it seem strangely quiet even when there is a load of vehicles travelling up there.

Thank goodness for THAT!! It was a nightmare coming from Westcott to get to Dorking town centre. With West and North Street closed, I even contemplated going to Leatherdead for a drink, bite to eat etc!

Sorry this doesn't relate to the post in question but...

Do you know if any Dorking pubs are open beyond 11pm on a Thursday? With so many it's not easy to check them all. Cheers.

It is difficult to say which exact pubs are open late on a Thursday, but most of them have late licenses from Thursday till Sunday.

Might be best to try somewhere like The Old House, Arty P's or The Surrey Yeoman.
